The pure iron anode is especially useful in stress corrosion of copper alloys. Therefore, it is mostly applied to the corrosion protection of copper alloy tube of heat exchanger, condenser, pumps, fresh water facility, desalination plant (evaporator, brine heater) and cooling systems of power plants.
